Northwest Argentina

This desert and remote region of Argentina, which is bordered by Salts Flats of Bolivia to the North and Atacama Desert, is one of Argentina’s popular tourist destinations. The topography is simply outstanding and contains some multi-colored rock slopes, forests of giant cacti, mineral lakes and valleys of salt flats. It is sparsely populated by some small adobe towns and villages of traditional communities.
